It appears that rarely my wireless will behave like it used to but should it happen I just need to reboot. It appears that the issue only occurs should, say, the power go out or my laptop get uplugged on accident. However, as I mentioned, a simple reboot has it working again so it doesn't appear to be a real problem. I just though I should report it just in case it shows itself to be more common than it appears.

All kernel related modules are in testing now. I created a different structure so all extramodules get installed in a separate folder. So the user can decide what driver he wants to use. This fixes lot's of issues we had. Thx for reporting back and welcome back to the Chakra world Dante.

Problem solved. Solution? Use the development repository. If that doesn't work try removing b43fwcutter and broadcom-wl packages. It was one or the other although I am pretty sure it was the upgrade to the development repository.

Yes I have. Any that have a solution posted usually say to install the proprietary drivers, which don't work, or that the access points need to be renamed, which I can not do because it is a college internet or my aunt's internet not my own. I have tried them. I am hoping though that I can find a solution. I really do not want to give up on linux.
