Your video does not show anymore then what you are saying. Also not clear, one post you mention you do have kdemod-networkmanagement-networkmanager-plasmoid, another you do not have it. Need more info.

Hey guys,
sorry to bother you but I actually got the same problem as barii.
I updated successfully but can't login after; same symptoms.
As you guys already said that plasmoids might be the cause, how can I remove them?
Something I noticed: I can't start/stop/restart HAL as root, everything leads to a [FAIL] in console. What might be the cause for this?
Tell me if you need any log file or output for more informations.
Thanks in advance
edit: removed kdemod-kdenetwork-common now and HAL start/stop works again after reboot. Strange stuff..
Login still does not work!!
edit2: /var/log/errors.log says: kdm_greet: Cannot load /usr/share/apps/kdm/faces/.default.face: No such file or directory
and
Xorg.0.log says e.g.: config/hal: NewInputDeviceRequest failed (8) or
AutoaddDevices is iff - not adding device
