Hi community,
during the 0.2.1 tests we found some bugs. vlc reported some like:
main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `mp4v'. VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.Updated pkgs:
libvpx libva x264 ffmpeg mplayer vlc
I updated in platform-i686, platform-testing-i686 and platfrom-x86_64 new pkgs and tested them all on my local machine. Please retest on yours and report back if I fixed that problem. SMplayer should work with mplayer now.

I just updated libva and now I have the same problem. I am on the i686 platform running chakra phoix.
I get this message:
No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "h264". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.I have an intel atom n450 with a broadcom crystal hd decoding chip (I hear there is a libva backend). I know that vlc uses libva now but I don't know whiy I can't see any videos. I can hear the audio track but the video doesn't play. xine works fine, mplayer it is the reverse I get the video but no sound. I deleted the .vlc folder configs so it is running on the defaults but it didn't change a thing. This is all I can tell you for now.
my platform is i686
my vlc version is platform-testing/vlc 1.1.4-2 [installed]
my libva version is platform-testing/libva 1.0.4-1 [installed]

For future reference, know you are in Ashoc, future Chakra 0.3 (development branch).

I am on i686 Ashoc
did you make a new package, because my vlc still doesn't work. A correction on the mplayer it works smplayer was set to use pulse audio which doesn't work, so when switched to alsa it works again.
here is a screenshot of sintel mp4 720. There only shows a image and audio, no video.
This is the error :

I switched to the latest trunk-version we offer in our testing-repositories. And I reinstalled all my pkgs I build:

I don't find any issues with that. MPlayer got rebuild without pulse btw. Try to delete the cached files and reinstall the whole set.

When I first did that it worked but the sound didn'd work so I had to do a pacman -Sy alsa-lib and do a reboot after that both sound and video works.

not everything is working now my flash has no sounds

Which flash version do you have? 10.0.45 (old) or 10.0.82?
Another thing to try is use the chrome-dev bundle, flash is build in into chrome i686, see if that resolves this issue.
