I have issues with both rekonq *and* konqueror; however, the issues are different for each. Konqueror has issues iwth Flash (which rekonq works fine with); however, rekonq has issues with the Chakra Forums (that Konqueror is fine with). The end result is that I cannot settle on a single browser (as there is no Firefox/Chrome for Chakra at present).
The faceoff continues.
Both Firefox and Chrome are available as bundles.

select your arch, get the bundle in the right link, click it and enjoy.
Opera is in the repo's and is working flawlessly -- at least in my end
... oh, and the ability to have tabs vertically and 25 thumbnails (opposed to 8 for Chromium) - It's a very fine browser indeed!
Do you ever have any problems with Opera 10.62-1 sucking up all the memory and then having to use swap, it doesn't happen all the time just occasionally when I have a lot of tabs open.
Ram = 1Gb KDE 4.5.1
I use 5-15 tabs on any given time. Some are quite flash intensive. What I do experience is cpu-hog from time to time, but this seems to be site related and browser independent (Chrom./Ffox/O).
As per memory problems I can't say I've noticed any ... as of 10.61, .62 or even .70 -- build from AUR.
EDIT: 3 gb ram, no swap. Most mem usage I've noticed is 1,3 gb -- whilst nepomuk beeing responsible for nearly 1 gb (as I've maxed available ram there).

Thank you for thoughts on this.
Yes it is probably cpu-hog that I am experiencing because the cpu is maxed out at the same time and now when I think about it I have experienced it with Chromium I will have to take note of which sites cause it and not have to many tabs open and other apps running at the same time.
Konqueror + Kwebkitpart greatly improved compatibility with many websites, try using this combination:
Execute the command:
Go to the tab Embedding and under Service Preference Order, click on WebKit and move it at the top by clicking on the Move Up button.
Read this article: How Much Faster Is Konqueror With WebKit? honestly do not how reliable is this information is too good to be true XD
Bye, Good look
