Outstanding! It looks really professional.
I do however question the idea of moving the 'desktop folder' widget right into the direct center of the screen, but maybe its because i'm used to the old way (icons oriented by top left -- where my eyes tend to look for them automatically)

Also I think it would be useful to have an alternate wallpaper where the chakra icon is oriented bottom right, just above the kicker panel.

it's very nice ! Thanks

Beautifull artwork!!! Very clean and simple, without unecessary complications, just the way I like it. Great job! ![]()

Jan should add it to kdemod-kde 4.3.4
@Rosha: great work as always. Hope my git-tutorial for you will come handy ...

That is some fine work. It would be nice to also have the desktop wallpaper without the chakra logo, this would give a nice blend effect from ksplash to desktop, and i for one dont like writing on my desk ![]()

Yup nice!
You've made a good decision not to modify air too much, its prolly the best light colored theme there is.
Great work.

and i love the wallpaper!
I appreciate your work, but I have some suggestions for improvements.
Could you please take a look at these screenshots of OpenSUSE 11.2? Specifically the second screenshot of splash screen. Notice that OpenSUSE's splash screen does not show icons to illustrate the loading process, but a simple loading bar?
Could you please remove the icons from the splash screen and implement a loading bar like OpenSUSE does? The icons don't add anything, in this case the simplicity of a simple loading bar would be better than unnecessary eye candy. Here others seem to agree with me.
The background is a bit too busy for my taste. It contains a lot of smaller blurred lights, giving the impression that you're looking at a snow storm instead. The background also contains some rays of light which add to this busyness. I think it would look better if you would decrease the amount of lights in the background and remove the rays, to make it more similar to the default Oxygen background and the background which is used in OpenSUSE 11.2 (see linked screenshots again).
In the KDM theme the fields for entering the user name and password are placed above the Chakra logo, obscuring it. Maybe it would look better if either the logo or the fields are placed elsewhere so the logo is not covered.

Could you please do that as an alternative, what AlexanderVanLoon said, because I like it the way it is shown in the screenshots in the first post.

Just my 2 cents: that progressbar on SuSE's KSplashX is in fact made of icons. Those are 5(4) separate images aligned together to simulate progresbar. They load and behave just the same as default splash icons, just looks (maybe) a bit nicer. ![]()
I myself prefer "old-school" iconic splash to progressbar, but, I guess, it's up to our artwork magician to decide what'll be in the end... ![]()
