Seems there are some tarballs out:
http://www.mail-archive.com/release-tea … 03702.html
I don't find them yet. To fix the marble bug I checkedout kdeedu-4.4.1 and rebuild it against 4.4.0 pkgs. Jan is doing a full 4.4.1 build atm for i686.
Since I snapped my right foot I'm grounded at home. Will attack core-x86_64 when I'm done with the Persian-Edition for chakra-project.ir.
If anyone know where to download the tarballs from kde release-team leave me a mail ![]()

Thats cool, today 4.4.1 should be released. I would love if you would package it soon, because atm i leaved kde, because of new bugs in 4.4, but i hope 4.4.1 will be better.

I attack core-i686 atm. Just have to checkout the latest tarballs. Updated some dependencies so it should be done by tonight. x86_64 will follow ... Jan Mette will be here again at the weekend.

Thanks mate
. The only problem i found is theres conflict:
:: kdemod-kdebase-workspace conflicts with notification-daemon. Remove notification-daemon? [Y/n]
Other than that, everything went smooth, and kdemod 4.4.1 is working like a charm, no issues
im on i686

That conflict happens because of colibri being included in workspace.

what are these new repositories? Could someone shed more light on what is the general purpose for these repositories?

[kdemod-core-4.4.1] Server = http://chakra-project.org/repo/core/i686... I just renamed database from kdemod-core to kdemod-core-4.4.1. When all is only you can remove -4.4.1.
It was for rebuilding.

l10n packages are uploading now, they should be finished in 3-4 hours at the latest.
I upload my own pkgs now to x86_64. Maybe I've to add sk-locales to i686 since I added them today. My upload speed is a little faster so locales should be uploaded in 30 mins.

While upgrading I got this:
WARNING: unresolved dependencies: kdemod-kdenetwork-kget -> kdemod-kdebase-workspace=>4.4.1 (not found) WARNING: unresolved dependencies: kdemod-kdenetwork-common -> kdemod-kdelibs=>4.4.1 (not found) :: Do you want to ignore the above packages for this operation? [Y/n]
And chosen yes.
I use x86_64.
Is this normal? As I'm writing this I'm also re-updating to check if it's there...
If I try to install just this two packages it says that it's reinstalling.
OH yeah forgot to write, if I try to install just kget and kdenetwork-common I get the same error.

It sounds to me the mirror you were using was not upgraded to 4.4.1 yet.
Try again later, or use a different kdemod mirror.

But I used main Chakra mirrors...
I'll try again. But given that KDE still works, it's not so bad as I thought it could be.

Same problem here, using main Chakra mirrors.

More info is needed then. What arch? When was the last successful update? Exactly what command was used. Were you already on KDE 4.4, or still on KDE 4.3?
Offline
It updated for me when I just installed both packages by hand.
Just so you know.
