hi,
the live-cd has a very good hardware detection. I tried the cd on two different systems: a ibm think pad r52 (with ati card) and sony vaio (intel on board). on both systems it works flawlessly, however, on the thinpad composite doesnt work. i have arch and kdemod installed on the thinpad and composite works without any problem.
now two questions and one wish.
question 1: where is powerdevil? is it already on the cd or not?
question 2: is it possible to read windows partitions? i wasnt able to do that on both systems, but maybe it was my mistake.
wish: it would be very very nice if the fn-keys would be enabled out of the box. since i have arch and kdemod i am not able to use them (my fault because i dont know how to configure them) and it would be just perfect to have this key without configuring a lot.
thats it!
great work, nice distro and very very fast! i never used a live cd that boots so fast.
thank you.

to the second question: yes its possible. just type sudo dolphin in the konsole and then you can mount and read windows partitions.
